Criss Angel: poor loser

Even more examples are emerging of Luxor/Cirque headliner Criss Angel's outrageous behavior at the Miss USA pageant last week at Planet Hollywood. I've been reporting on Angel's threat to a local journalist, a threat Angel has not chosen to retract.
But today Review-Journal publisher Sherman Fredrick on his blog gives new details about Angel's behavior during a commercial break in the pageant broadcast on NBC:
"Upset that his girlfriend, Miss Nevada USA Veronica Grabowski, failed to make the final 15 ... Angel made a spectacle of himself and took things into his own hands. He approached the stage and attempted to have a contestant trade places with Grabowski during a commercial break to improve his girlfriend's camera exposure. Later, when an NBC camera moved in to get a closeup of Angel in his seat, he flipped 'em the bird."

Classy enough for you?

What a real classy guy ...LMAO.
He should change his show from Mindfreak to Mindsleaze because that's what he's all about now.

If that loser threatened me I'd magically make his teeth disappear.

I was close by Criss Angel during pageant and he never went toward the stage. Don't know who reports or submits erroneous information that misleads the public, but they should check their facts before they print them. Lies about anyone, famous or not, is just tacky and not professional.

Thanks for reading. I agree the publisher of the Las Vegas Review-Journal does not say in his blog entry where he found out about Angel's behavior.
FYI: I have also spoken to a witness who has a similar story but chose not to allow his/her name to be used and so I did not run that eyewitness account when I first heard it.
However, I would say that the main reason the story is being reported with this set of facts is that Norm Clarke published his first person account of Angel's behavior on April 13 in the Review-Journal. In the past, Angel has not been shy about press statements objecting to stories and rumors in the media that he felt were false or unfair to him. But he has not done so this time. In fact, I repeatedly reached out to representatives from both Cirque and Criss Angel and no one has responded by even hinting that there was any factual problems with Clarke's account of the incident.
I would report in detail if Angel disputed any of the accounts given on the Buffet. I was not there. His version would be great to have. But I have found witnesses who verify significant parts of Clarke's story.
Angel thus far has chosen not to challenge the accuracy of any of the reporting or to offer any other account of the night. If he does so, I will certainly post that on the Buffet. Yrs., Richard

I believe some to be true and some not. Basically Criss has serious issues with his ego. That is no gossip, but very factual. I believe he threatened the reporter hands down. And now not willing to make any statements about it is making him look like he was totally in the wrong. He is only adding fuel to the fire by not responding and hoping the hype of his show pushes this under the rug.

Narrater: And so once again we see the same reporters standing around a big boiling cauldren with steam rising from it as they chant and continue to stir and feed the big boiling pot more of their continual lies that never even happened because this is what they think the public wants to hear about.
I happen to like Criss Angel, leave the poor guy alone!!! I think that it's crap that the press is constantly trying to make him out as a bad person. I don't believe everything I read with any celebrity. Practice the role of Thumper in the movie Bambi. I believe the line is this, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!"

Jenn, thanks for reading. I think I have been very even writing about Criss Angel over the years. I have had good interviews with him reported on the Buffet. I have also written admiringly and impressed by his ability to generate excitement. I think the fact that few are questioning the need for another Cirque show has everything to do with the fact that Believe will be a Criss Angel Cirque show. I am really looking forward to the show.
But if Criss Angel physically threatened a reporter that is not professional on any level. That is also a significant story in Las Vegas. Again, I continue to give Criss Angel the chance to say that he did not physically threaten Norm Clarke. I also have asked Angel's representative to simply inform me that Angel does not wish for any harm to come to Clarke. I have uncharacteristically heard nothing back from Angel's camp. In the past Angel's PR person has always been diligent about getting back to me. So, that is why this story is appearing on the Buffet.
And, honestly, what makes this story so bizarre is that Angel, the man behind Cirque's $100 million new show at the Luxor, looks to be threatening this Greek Tragedy retribution --blinding someone--over a beauty pageant. Yrs., Richard

this really angers me that the public eye mistreats a wonderful human being with such deviacy im tired of the press creating a bad image for him and destroying his ego in the end u alll are LOOSERS
DONT MESS WITH CRISS ANGEL

By the way, enough pictures of Criss and Veronica. She might be a beauty queen, but Criss is the real star here, not her. More womanly publicity, indeed! And I'm a guy who loves women. But it's getting to be too much!

Looks Like Paranormalist, Jim Callahan is making good on his promise on the NBC show Phenomenon.
So took Angels challange but the producers could not prove that Angel had the cash t pay Callahan.
In fact it is common knowlage Callahan said he would take Angel's cash and ruin his carreer.
(Looks like Callahan has decided to do it without the cash)
As Callahan has said to Angel.
Tic Toc Criss.

I wonder if it is too late for Cirque to rethink this show? Are they too far in to back out?
I have not spoken to a single person that knows this “Mindfreak” and expresses any interest whatsoever to see his show.

This guy makes me ill; I cannot even look at that smug egomaniac without getting nauseous.
Just because he thinks he’s a celebrity does not grant him special privileges nor does his entitle him to threaten people.

this truly disappoints me about Criss. I understand how he is upset about Veronica not getting in the pageant, but trying to which places for her is just wrong. I hope he comes to his senses soon and realizes he can't do whatever he wants just because in the big time. And loyalkim i totally understand how your angry.

This is the most backwards story. It's just like a Papa Rat story. They stalk you, get stories and print pics of you doing things in private. And if they can't get a story, they make one up. As far as I know and have read in Norm Clark's article HE is the one who chased Criss Angel out the door and tried to talk to him and get information for his article. Criss Angel was not following him and was not at his place of business. How did Norm Clark know that he took Veronica Ear rings and a ring to make up for him being seen with Pamela Anderson the week before? WHERE did that story come from in his article? Did he just Assume that is what happened and decide all that in his tiny little head or did Criss Angel tell him that? Was Norm Clark there and heard Criss Angel talking to Veronica up close . Up close and personal. I doubt it.
Sheez! I dunno guys why Criss Angel would get upset at all. I'm being sarcastic in case you don't know me by now. LOL
I dunno why they want to make a big deal about this. Surely if anyone was threated like Norm Clark told others he was then the police or ambulance would have been involved also. If Criss Angel were going to harm him he would have done it right then and there on the spot. Norm Clark is lucky it was not Al Pacino he did that to because he would have decked his butt. Stars have no privacy. Reporters and the Pap Rats make up stuff at times about them to print in their papers and online articles. It's just sick what they do to them. Criss handled it better than I would have. I would have kicked him between the legs for stalking me and getting up in my face like that. Criss Angel has a right to defend himself if he is being stalked by any reporter. Not just this time. It has gotton so bad in LA that the police are now arresting the Pap Rats for it more than they used to. Norm Clark is no different.
What do they want us to believe? He is telling us he followed Criss Angel. He is telling us he got the scoop from a third party. It's a one sided story guys. And the rest he could have just made up in his tiny little head. EVEN if Criss told him that I see it as self defense because of the way he was stalking Criss Angel. Norm Clark was printing things about him which he had no real knowledge to write in the first place. I'm glad Criss Angel stood up to him.
What gives Norm Clark the right to chase Criss Angel down the hall way as he is trying to leave and question him anyway? If he is not mentally challenged in addition to being handi cap then he should have known Criss was upset already and that he did not want to be stalked by any reporter. Norm Clark should have been arrested for stalking Criss. Las Vegas does have stalking laws correct? Norm Clark has more than admitted he chased Criss Angel out the door in his article online. Correct? Same things as satlking a star. When Criss did not give him the story he wanted he goes and prints this crap.
I can see it now.
Judge: Was Criss Angel at your place of business at the time you claim he treatened you?
Norm Clark: No judge I chased him down the hall as he was trying to leave the club and I got up in his face and questioned him so I can print a good story and make more money.
Judge: Did you print things about Criss Angel being in the doghouse with Veronica because he was seen with Pamela Anderson a week earlier and said he gave her a pair of ear rings and a ring to make it up to her? If so, where did you get that information Norm ?
Norm Clark: In my tiny little head. No one would tell me anything so I did what most reporters do, I just made it up. Just like that.

Criss has always been a class act. He's taken the high road in interviews when he could have trashed people with opposing views, and these are people that have hurt him deeply.Criss has made himself available for Make a Wish and other charities, and responded tirelessly at meet and greets. This does not sound like the Criss Angel I've supported all these years.I'd like to hear Criss's version, and what was said to him to provoke him so.

WHy don't people try this on for size.:
This whole thing about Criss causing a stir at this USA pagent is made up. A sham. A big lie to stir up controversy,=publicity to get Criss' s name in the papers- more people will know about him and he'll have a big opening at his show. Even Cirque or whoever backs him is not asking him to retract this so called threat to the columnist, because in the end, they know that any publicity is good publicity and they're probably in on the lie anyway. (There is no such thing as bad publicity unfortunetly in todays' society.) So if he did or didn't do it, doesn't matter,- as long as the money comes in. Pagwatcher wrote on here that they were at the show and that Criss didn't do any of this. But this Robert guy wants to keep this stupid story going. I bet Robert, Criss, his management even the eye patch columnist are in on it. Criss has really lost a lot of respect from the original small number of so called-Loyals he had. I'm not fooled by this. He's after a bigger audience now..and is loosing his intergrity in the procss. He's become a fame whore and just isn't such a great person anymore. End of story.

Callahan is a joke peroid and anyone who believes he's real should seek mental health help immediately! I knew he was a fake when I watched the show. I laughed so hard I fell of my couch. If being close intitles him to being accuarate then I have won the lottery at least a millon times, lol.
As for Norm Clarke he is known for his very inaccurate reporting and wouldn't know real and acurate journalism if it bit him in his butt. I always laugh when I read his garbage.
I once asked my college professer if she took bribes for A's on exams or if she'd give me the answers. She unlike the individuals involved in the Criss Angel situation had the intellgence to know a joke when she heard one.
Funny thing is where is the supposed video footage at, lol. You would think it would be all over the internet by now. SO WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! If I was accused of something I didn't do I wouldn't dignify the BS with an answer either. I personally don't care what others think of me as long as I and God know the truth; that's all that matters.

My God...this is truly gettting a little sour. I come here to read about INTERESTING articles and here we go again with the b/s with Criss said or did this .
FYI if Criss NEEDED to defend himself over anything ; I know that he's MAN enough to do it . You people that badger him ;should try finding something better to do with your time. As for the misguided , like the reporters and journalists who write this crap...please give it a rest. If someone like Pagwatcher (and there were others at the pageant;) are saying they didn't see Criss do or say half the garbage that he's being accused of, wouldn't it make sense that he would have spoken up by now? And this Jim Callahan character is full of HIMSELF. I can't stand that s.o.b. To run a website and LURE people into spending their hard earned money on his B/S, is a story in itself. Why don't you go check this loser out RICHARD.
Again, I doubt that half the crap that abNORMal Norman wrote was true...seeing we haven't heard from him neither for awhile. ??
in closing , I would like to add this : Those who throw stones.........
