Vegas headliner sings for Hillary

June 21, 2007 |  8:32 am
"Nice Buber, Hillary," I thought when I heard she was using Martin Buber's philosophical masterwork "Ich und Du"--oddly translated as "You and I" instead of the standard "I and Thou"--as her campaign theme. We could all learn from such an examination of human interaction. But it turns out she's really using the work of another foreign philosopher: Celine Dion, the Vegas headliner. Is this a sign of Nevada's sudden importance to the Presidential selection process thanks to holding our caucus right after Iowa?
