Heidi's suds farm

03:42 PM PT, Apr 7 2007

She's back. In fact, she never left. A few months ago it seemed Heidi Fleiss and her dream of a stud farm for ladies outside Vegas had vanished. But on a whim, this morning, I gave Fleiss a ring at her Pahrump home and she answered. The last time we spoke she had told me about her conversation with Mike Tyson coming to work for her at the stud farm. This claim was refuted, not by Tyson's camp, but by a man who emerged claiming to be the publicist for Fleiss. I still have never spoken to that man. That was our starting point. As always, Fleiss here is funny, optimistic and defiantly dancing to her own tune.

Richard Abowitz: You got me in trouble last time we spoke.

Heidi Fleiss: Why are you in trouble?

Q: Because someone emerged who claimed to be your publicist to deny you told me that story about Tyson coming to work on your stud farm.

A: That figures. That's good communication there. It is a true story. There is nothing you can do. You can't argue the truth.

Q: Have you spoken to Tyson again about it?

A: No, because he told a mutual friend that I should pay him for all the publicity and then the next week he was arrested.

Q: So, it was reported you vanished from Nye County?

A: That was Robin Leach. The last time I saw Robin Leach was years ago at a party with Frank Sinatra Jr. That was quite a few years ago. Is it because I would not have dinner with him?
Q: Well, I tried your numbers when I read that and could not get through and I tried you for a couple weeks after that. So, are you still in Nye County with plans for a stud farm?

A: Yes, I am still in Pahrump. My plans are still going forward. I just got caught up in the middle of an FBI sting operation. A brothel owner is charged with bribing a country commissioner and I introduced them.

Q: So, when will you open the stud farm?

A: I wish to god I was open right now, because I check my e-mail and I get anxiety. I already have enough women wanting to buy memberships and wanting directions. I could open with probably over 1,000 women.

Q: Is there anything that they seem to be requesting?

A: The thing I get the most of is guys wanting to see their girlfriends or wives (have sex.) That must be common.

Q: Are you going to allow that?

A: I guess. We'll create a peep show room for voyeurism.

Q: Will the guy have to pay, too?

A: Well, those kinds of things will have to be worked out as it goes. First I have to get open.

Q: So, what is the timeline and steps to get open?

A: Well, there is still the FBI investigation and that is responsible for the delay. I am not the focus of the investigation. I am squeaky clean. I just introduced the brothel owner to the county commissioner who was wearing a wire.

Q: Was she wearing a wire when you introduced them?

A: I have no idea.

Q: So, is it because of this case that you have to back off your brothel license?

A: My criminal attorney has advised me to back off a little bit, and I am never going back to the penitentiary. So, I follow advice. So, I am about to open a laundromat right here in Pahrump.

Q: Excuse me? What did you just say?

A: Yes, I feel a need to open a business.

Q: So, until you get the brothel going you are going to open a laundromat?

A: Yeah, instead of Heidi's stud farm I am going to open Heidi's suds farm. I should have it open in 3-4 weeks.

Q: Do you think running a legitimate business like a laundry in Pahrump will help you get a brothel licence?

A: I never thought about that.

Q: Nonetheless, don't you think running a business in Pahrump will help get a brothel license?

A: I don't see how it can hurt. Why not have some business in the community?  By the way, it is going to be a very cool looking laundromat. You know, location is everything. So, for the fashionable location I have only a 1,000 square foot space, but that is okay.

Q: I have to ask since it sounds like a joke: what is the fashionable location in Pahrump?

A: By the Walmart.

Q: Now, back to the stud farm?

A: I would love to be open. As soon as possible.

Q: So, is it delayed until the case against the Joe Richards, the brothel owner, resolves itself?

A: No, I don't think so.  I know something about Federal cases. And, they can drag on for years. I think I can wait for another week or maybe a month or so. The thing about attorneys is that they give the best advice but they don't always give correct advice.

Q: So, you are saying in a month or two you might get antsy, ignore your lawyers and start on the stud farm?

A: I think so. I can't wait anymore. The stud farm will happen. I am determined and that's when things happen when someone is determined.
