It was another weekend in Vegas for Britney Spears. Robin Leach gives the hour by hour account of Spears' latest travels through Sin City. When not dancing on the bar at Coyote Ugly, in theory, Spears is working at the Palms studio on her musical comeback. Also, working at the Palms Studio this week on his slightly less anticipated comeback is Trini Lopez. Perhaps, a duet?
Cirque is opening Revolution; this marks a first expansion into the lucrative nightclub business for the prolific creator of production shows for MGM owned properties. Expanding Love with Revolution at Mirage rather than building out one of Cirque's four more established shows here is a mark of the special success that comes with the Beatles connection. Tomorrow I am going to a Grand Opening for Revolution and hope to have a report and photos from the event. Cirque let Review-Journal music critic Jason Bracelin take a sneak peak that appears in the paper today and includes a couple photos.
Jerry Fink writes in the Las Vegas Sun how the perfect replacement for Celine Dion would be Celine Dion. That isn't likely to happen. He also give a nod to both the prevailing names in rumors: Cher and Bette Midler.
