I dropped in on Robin Leach's birthday party at the Kingpin Suite at the Palms Fantasy Tower last night. Few people I know enjoy life as much as Robin Leach, and last night he seemed to be having a blast in the suite that gets its name from the two bowling lanes included in it. The champagne was flowing.

I note as a simple statement of fact that a disproportionate number of Leach's friends seem to be tall blond women. It was amazing to watch them line up to bowl in their catch-me-have-me heels. On the way out, I ran into the Review-Journal's Norm Clarke who gave me the head's up on a story he has out today about Liza Minnelli missing an event at the MGM on Saturday night.
