Harrah's Loses to Bodog
You would expect Harrah's to get a lot of press out of the record $12 million dollar jackpot for the World Series of Poker. The jackpot was won by a player named Jamie Gold who got more attention for not claiming the jackpot than winning it.
Now, that jackpot is the subject of a lawsuit by Bruce Crispin Leyser who says he is entitled to half the money for rounding up two B-list celebrities: Matthew Lillard and Dax Shepard (an actor from the Scooby-Doo films and a guy from "Punk'd" on MTV, respectively). I kid you not. It is a bizarre story. At the center of it is a seat to the tournament sponsored by online casino Bodog.
Turns out Bodog is the real winner here; I wonder how Harrah's feels about Bodog sort of upstaging the host on this tournament?
